After years of touring the country as a professional musician, her other childhood dream of being an artist nagged at her heart. As a completely self-taught artist, Angela quickly developed her own unique style of pastel and charcoal realism. She creates a depth and range not easily achieved with such mediums. Her lifelong love of animals, nature, and each person's unique beauty comes through with every piece. Her artwork is not complete unless she feels it has "come alive". Aside from being inspired by nature, she is driven by many elements of the past: the handwritten love letter, a portrait passed down through generations, and a time when life was lived in the moment. Her belief that everything in the world has a dynamic of both light and dark is perpetuated in the stark contrast of her work. She currently resides in Montana, where she is continuously inspired by the rich history of the area, along with the vibrant wildlife and nature.
